Top Symptoms of Arthritis

In the beginning, symptoms of arthritis may mimic the symptoms of other diseases, sometimes making it hard to diagnose. Joint pain, stiffness, inflammation, and swelling are the most noticeable signs that will probably lead your physician to believe you may have arthritis. There are quite a few other symptoms that you may experience without realizing they may be linked to arthritis.

These symptoms may manifest in different areas of the body including hands, fingers, arms, legs, neck, wrists and feet. They are usually more apparent upon waking or after long periods of sitting in one position. Many people associate arthritis with older adults, but it affects children, adults of all ages, and the elderly.

Additionally, symptoms between the different types of arthritis may vary, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis vs. Osteoporosis.
